ProMinent® Orlita® DR Rotating Plunger Metering Pump

The ORLITA® DR range has a valveless rotating plunger-type dosing head. It functions by means of a simultaneous oscillating and rotating plunger action. The impeller itself opens and closes the suction and pressure side. This means the pump does not need valves and can be operated in a broad high frequency range. This working principle allows exact dosing of highly viscous media, which may also have solid constituents.

Dosing of highly viscous media containing solids, for example in the food industry.

Features

Performance range 0 -4,000 l/h per pump head, max. pressure 630 bar.
Work materials: pump head made of stainless steel, cylinder and plungers with wear-resistant surface coating. Depending on the area of application, other high-performance materials are also available.
The play between the plunger and cylinder responsible for the sealing effect is selected according to viscosity.
Lanterns at the rear head end, either as a collection annular space for leakage or pressurised with a blocking medium
The lantern is sealed with elastomer lipped sealing rings
Conveyance direction can be selected according to the fitted position of the plunger.

Note: Qth corresponds to the theoretical discharge flow of the pump. The effective discharge flow is lower depending on the particular head pressure of the pump.
