The generation of chlorine dioxide is effected on the basis of the patented Purate® procedure according to which sodium chlorate is transformed with hydrogen peroxide and sulphuric acid. The chlorine dioxide is generated with a rate of yield above 95% and is of high purity and free of chlorine and chlorite. The procedure is certified according to NSF 60 and 61 and FDA-approved.
Purate® AD
Purate® plants of the type AD operate with the basic chemical Purate® and 78% sulphuric acid. Out of 1 kg Purate® and 1.2 kg 78 % sulphuric acid are generated approx. 240 g Chlorine dioxide in the plant. The plants are available with a performance of up to 200 kg/h.
Purate® MSA
Purate® plants of the type MSA operate with the basic chemical Purate® and sulphuric acid in any concentration between 78 and 98 %. The sulphuric acid will first be pre-deluted in an integrated diluting device and cooled down to service temperature. The use of inexpensive sulphuric acid of high concentration enables a particularly economical operating method. Out of 1 kg Purate® and 78 % sulphuric acid are generated approx. 240 g Chlorine dioxide in the plant. The plants are available with a performance of up to 100 kg/h.
