At the IFAT 2008 to be held from the 5th to 9th May 2008 at the exhibition site in Munich, the Heidelberg-based manufacturers will exhibit components and systems for drinking water and waste water treatment sectors. The new application-optimised measuring and control stations and polyelectrolyte preparation stations are highlights of particular interest for the waste water sector. A new chlorine dioxide generator system as well as the innovative online chlorite measuring station offers a sound foundation for optimisation in drinking water treatment applications.
New Features
The new CDVc chlorine dioxide generator system for the disinfection of drinking water with chlorine dioxide has been equipped with future-orientated measurement and control technology. The integrated chlorine dioxide and chlorite measuring facilities enable even more exact configuration of disinfection processes than ever before. ProMinent ProMaqua will present further new features of this system such as the graphic colour display, LAN/Ethernet and embedded web server as standard at IFAT Munich in Halle A3 at Booth 119/216.
Flexible Standard and Individual Solutions
With a system for neutralising waste water, a polyelectrolyte preparation station and panel-mounted systems, ProMinent presents practical waste water treatment solutions. In comparison with conventional measurement and control methods, monitoring and measurement procedures, involving a vast number of different measured variables, can be executed considerably simpler, more flexible and compact with the pre-assembled DULCOTROL® waste water measurement and control station. The sensor system, fittings and controllers combine to form a functional unit that can immediately set to work without the need for intricate installation. Just as effortless are measurement and feed tasks with the DULCODOS® metering systems. In this case, the sensors, controller and metering pump are preassembled and are available with the necessary containers and reservoirs as a complete solution ready for operation.
Panel-mounted metering systems as well as measurement and control stations are used in all applications involving the treatment of drinking water and waste water. For instance, applications such as pH neutralisation and pH value adjustment, the disinfection of treated water or the decontamination of waste water by eliminating reducing and oxidising agents can be continuously monitored and executed. The main components such as the metering pumps, controllers, sensor systems and tanks originate from the company's own manufacturing process. Likewise, all systems are assembled in the company-own production facilities.
