Makro/ 5 Diaphragm Metering pump

Makro/ 5 Diaphragm Metering pump

The motor-driven diaphragm metering pump Makro/5 is characterised by its modular design for add-ons. With the option of one or two liquid ends and one or several add-on pumps, its performance can be enhanced up to a maximum of 20,000 l/h.

Advantages

  • High processing reliability: Powerful, reliable and extremely robust
  • High processing quality: Reproducibility of dosage better than ±2 %
  • Broad field of application, easily adapted later even by the customer because of its modular design.

Areas of application

  • The addition of chemicals based on measured values, e.g. acid and alkali dosing for pH neutralisation in wastewater treatment
  • Dosing of treatment agents in industrial production technology
  • Time-controlled dosing of chemicals for ion exchange regeneration

Features

  • The drive unit is designed for operating two liquid ends with an output of 2 x 4,000 l/h
  • Can be increased to 20,000 l/h by adding up to three add-on pumps, and with reduced back pressure up to four add-on pumps (the use of an installation frame is necessary).
  • Back pressure 4 bar
  • Push-pull operation of the liquid ends with dual head designs
  • Standard drive: Spur gear motor 3 kW (optional 5.5 KW), 230/400 V, 50/60 Hz, enclosure class rated IP 55 (optional ATEX-T3/T4), insulation class F
  • Stroke displacement 0-20 mm
  • Stroke length setting: manual (optional with variable speed drive)
  • Optional electronic frequency converter for speed control, enclosure class rated IP54, with monitor for monitoring the temperature of the motor
  • Optional stroke sensor with NAMUR signal for exact recording of each dosing stroke, suitable for batch dosing or proportional dosing
  • Gear housing: Cast iron, resistant to seawater, acrylic resin lacquer finish
  • Liquid end materials: Polypropylene, PVC, PTFE with carbon, stainless steel 1.4571/1/4404
  • Reproducibility of dosing better under defined conditions and correct installation ± 2 % (stroke length 30-100%)
  • Suction lift varies with density and viscosity of the medium as well as the connecting tubing and the number of strokes
