Dulcodes S UV systems for chloramine degradation

The in-line design ensures that the system is simple and easy to install in any location and quick to retrofit with minimal installation work. In their class, the systems are unbeatable in terms of ease of maintenance, due to their one-sided lamp insertion.

Benefits

  • Exceptionally compact in-line system with a minimal space requirement that can be installed in any location. Simple to install and quick to retrofit due to minimal installation work
  • Automatic chloramine value-dependent on/off control, for instance when used in conjunction with the DULCOMARIN® II.
  • Optimised hydraulics in the system ensure uniform radiation of the entire water flow
  • Radiation chambers made from high-grade stainless steel 1.4571 or 1.4404.
  • Integral control function to monitor
    o lamp output
o contamination on the lamp protection tube
    o changes in water quality
o water temperature in the radiation chamber
  • Sensor signal displayed with the UV sensor signal’s time response trends
  • Different switching stages provide optimum adjustment to the respective output requirement
  • Optional: Manual or automatic wiper system for efficient removal of deposits on the lamp protection tube. The wiper system is simple to retrofit.

Features

  • Flow rate: up to 750 m3/h (depending on transmission rate and radiation intensity)
  • Powerline S medium pressure lamp with mercury vapour pressure above 1 bar, hence high power input levels of up to 3 kW
  • Lamp life time: approx. 6,000-8,000 h depending on lamp size.
  • UVC sensor with long term stability to monitor lamp output, contamination on the lamp protection tube and changes in water quality
  • Integral temperature switch to monitor water temperature in the radiation chamber
  • Large graphic display
  • Manual power control via manual step switch to perfectly adapt the system to the relevant capacity needed (not suitable for use with Dulcodes 1 x 0.65 and 1S).
  • Automatic chloramine value-dependent control, for example when used in conjunction with the DULCOMARIN® II
  • Manual wiper for efficient removal of deposits on the lamp protection tube
  • Radiation chambers made of high-grade stainless steel 1.4571
  • Compact, painted steel, wall-mounted control cabinet
  • Efficient use of UV radiation due to long contact time and uniform radiation of the entire water flow
