Gold, silver and German record for Sarah Köhler
July 2019
As sponsor of the swimming talent Sarah Köhler we congratulate her and the German Open Water Relay on the gold medal!
During the World Swimming Championships in South Korea, the relay team of Sarah Köhler, Lea Boy, Sören Meißner and Rob Muffels won gold after 4 x 1.25 kilometres in 53:58.7 minutes. Second place went to Italy, third to the USA. Congratulations for this performance to these teams as well.
The relay team competed without World Champion Florian Webrock, but was not deterred by that and delivered. Once again this team performance shows us what is possible together.
Sarah still on the road to success
Furthermore Sarah Köhler swam into the final at the 1,500m freestyle and undercut the German record. With 15:54.08 she finished third and undercut the previous German record - which she already held - by 3.75 seconds.
Update 23 July 2019: Sarah gets silver
After her new German record on Monday, Sarah Köhler swam silver at the 1,500m freestyle final. She undercut her record of Monday by more than 5 seconds and won the second medal in South Korea in 15:48.83. Simona Quadarella won gold for Italy and Wang Jianjiahe bronze for China.
