ProMinent at ACHEMA 2015 - Maximum operational safety with minimal operating costs

June 2015

In hall 8 stand J94 at ACHEMA in Frankfurt, 15. to 19. June 2015, ProMinent will be showcasing Smart Disinfection: innovative disinfection of cooling water with its new ozone system OZONFILT® OZMa

Environmentally-friendly and efficient

The system generates active ozone in an environmentally-friendly way, conserving resources and with minimal use of energy, at the same time offering maximum operational safety with minimal operating costs.

Depending on the design, the system generates a reproducible quantity of 70 to 735 g of ozone per hour from compressed air or oxygen independently of fluctuations in mains voltage and pressure.

The maintenance-free reactor design ensures minimal consumption of energy and cooling water, as well as compact dimensions. An automatic control of the operating gas depending on the ozone output ensure therefore reduced consumption of operating gas produced with intensive use of energy. In addition, the consumption of energy for air treatment is reduced up to 30 Percent, thanks to demand-led and self-optimising air drying compared with conventional air treatment.

The ozone can be fed directly into the water up to a back pressure of 2 bar, making additional booster pumps, injectors etc. redundant in many installations. Over 90% of the ozone is dissolved in the water, thanks to the special construction of the mixing unit.

A DULCOTEST® ozone sensor can be connected directly to the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) with an integral measuring and control unit to monitor the ozone fed into the water and directly control the ozone output. Ease of operation is guaranteed by integral ozone measurement and control, as well as the touch panel with data logger and screen plotter.

The system can be operated simply with higher-order master computers via multiple communication interfaces, such as LAN or Profibus DP.
