ProMinent funds a sculpture for Wieblingen roundabout (Heidelberg, Germany)

A new work of art now graces the roundabout on the bypass in the Wieblingen district of Heidelberg. The sculpture, entitled “Infinity Curve”, a work by the internationally renowned artist Chen Wenqin, was funded by Heidelberg-based ProMinent to mark the company’s fiftieth anniversary.

ProMinent, and especially its founder Prof. Dr. h.c. Viktor Dulger (* 18.12.1935; † 21.03.2016) and his wife, have already donated a number of different works by national and internationally renowned artists to the town of Heidelberg that were erected at various locations.

It is no coincidence that Prof. Dr. h.c. Viktor Dulger selected precisely this roundabout as the site for the sculpture by the Chinese artist Chen Wengin to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary. Chen Wenqin is one of China's most interesting sculptors.

The sculpture represents global open-mindedness, invention and space for innovative thinking. Its location – on the roundabout on the Wieblingen bypass – demonstrates Professor Dulger’s links to Heidelberg, the headquarters of the globally-operating ProMinent Group, and his choice of artist shows his links to China.
