The modular metering system DULCODOS compact from ProMinent GmbH has been specifically designed for replicable applications with excellent process reliability. It allows precise metering of various fluids in different industrial processes. The flexible configuration options, small footprint and easy installation ensure that the metering system is suitable for use in many industries.
With the DULCODOS compact , the Heidelberg-based company offers a flexible solution in the capacity range from 50 to 1,000 litres per hour, which is time- and cost-efficient. One of the key features is the collection of overflowing liquid and its recirculation by an overflow vessel. A siphon vessel with riser pipe is used to meter outgassing media such as peroxides: gas bubbles that accumulate on the lid of the vessel are separated. The large selection of pipe materials, seals and cements ensures a wide chemical resistance to concentrated acids and highly oxidising fluids, for example.
Carefully considered concept
With its compact design, small footprint of 615 x 700 mm and optional stainless steel frame, the metering system is especially suitable for the food and beverage industry. Each module can be used as a stand-alone application or several modules can be simply strung together for both individual and integrated functionality in automated industrial processes. The system is also prepared for flexible connections on the suction side, either at the front or at the side.
The metering system is equipped with high-quality components designed to guarantee process reliability and is delivered as a plug-and-play solution. It can be mounted to a wall or optionally supplied with a floor stand. For increased rigidity and stability, the frame is made from environmentally friendly polypropylene eco or robust stainless steel – with the customer free to decide on this too.
The skid has a removable and easy to use splash guard that increases safety during metering. Various components, such as priming aids, overflow vessel with acid vapour separator, flushing functions and leakage sensors, can therefore be integrated as needed. A comprehensive selection of Sigma metering pumps is available to control the DULCODOS compact , which has a unique multi-layer safety diaphragm with optical rupture indicator. The lead time is just four weeks thanks to smart standardisation and simple system configuration.
