Overview
Precisely and reliably feed dry sorbents stored in silos to your flue gas scrubbing process
Sulphurous oxides, SOx, heavy metals, dioxin, furan and other pollutants are released during the combustion of fossil fuels and other substances, such as solid waste. These have to be separated out before they enter the atmosphere. This is done using a flue gas scrubbing process. One option is to add a dry reagent before the flue gas flows through the fabric filters.
Common reagents include sodium bicarbonate, calcium hydroxide and activated carbon.
The equipment provided by Tomal comprises a silo with accessories, powder metering and pneumatic transport system. The reagent is transported pneumatically and injected into the flue gas duct upstream of the filter unit.
