It is awarded by the Heidelberg Center for the Environment (HCE), the university's environmental science research centre.

Viktor & Sigrid Dulger Foundation: Promotion of science

In the spirit of the late company founder and honorary senator Prof. Dr h.c. Viktor Dulger, young people are honoured for their outstanding work and achievements in the natural sciences. Every year, the Viktor & Sigrid Dulger Foundation endows an environmental prize with which the University of Heidelberg honours outstanding dissertations, master's theses, dissertations or habilitations in the field of environmental research.

German Centre for Music Therapy Research, Heidelberg

Since the foundation of the German Centre for Music Therapy Research (DZM) in 1995, the institute has been very much promoted by the entrepreneur family Dulger. Since the year 2000, the research institute bears the name of the ProMinent founder and is now called “Viktor Dulger Institute”.

Gründerpreis award in recognition of a life's work

The Gründerpreis of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe Baden-Württemberg, a business start-up award, was set up 14 years ago, and for the past eight years it has also been presented to an individual in recognition of their life's work. In 2011 the award was presented to Heidelberg entrepreneur Prof. Dr. h.c. Viktor Dulger (*18.12.1935; † 21.03.2016), founder and chairperson of ProMinent GmbH.

On 25 April 2009, Dr. h.c. Viktor Dulger was presented with the Medal of Merit of the State of Baden-Württemberg by Premier Günther Oettinger.

ProMinent funds a sculpture for Wieblingen roundabout (Heidelberg, Germany)

A new work of art now graces the roundabout on the bypass in the Wieblingen district of Heidelberg. The sculpture, entitled “Infinity Curve”, a work by the internationally renowned artist Chen Wenqin, was funded by Heidelberg-based ProMinent to mark the company’s fiftieth anniversary.

September 2022 Sarah Wellbrock is a freestyle star. The young swimmer continually sets new records in her main discipline. Her ambition and determination are impressive. Having won gold at the 2019 World Championships in South Korea, she claimed a bronze medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games – and set a new German record in the 1500 metre freestyle with a time of 15:45.83.
