Review: ProMinent at Brau Beviale 2014
November 2014
ProMinent was showing its colours at Brau Beviale with a focus on eco-friendly, economical and sustainable disinfection solutions. Robert Günther, Divisional Manager for Food and Beverage at ProMinent Germany, summed up the success of the event:
Great interest in ProMinent products and valuable customer face time
"We're very happy with the outcome of Brau Beviale 2014. It's a key industry event for us because it attracts master brewers and manufacturers of alcohol-free drinks, wines and sparkling wines. It's an opportunity for us to reinforce existing links and forge new ones." He adds: "The great interest in our DulcoLyse® technology affirms our ongoing improvement of this practical solution. We have consistently pushed forward the development of the ECA technology."
The result is the electrolysis system DulcoLyse®, which generates highly effective low-chloride DulcoLyt. This inexpensive disinfectant, made from harmless sodium chloride and approved under the German Drinking Water Ordinance, delivers consistent quality, even under variable conditions, with a constant free available chlorine (FAC) level of 400 ppm.
The extremely low chloride content is significantly below the level of comparable processes in which more than 20 times as much chloride is often produced. The surfaces of pipes, machine parts and equipment are not attacked by the minimal chloride concentration; corrosion is reliably avoided. Conversations with our customers confirmed that our products are fulfilling their stringent requirements. We are looking forward to doing excellent business following on from the trade fair.
